SriLankan Airlines Pro: Adam Robertson (Aus) The competition began in Dhonveli Beach Resort yesterday, in this event which is scheduled to continue till next saturday 80 surfers including worlds top athletes competed yesterday.
Out of the 80 surfers who competed yesterday 40 has been qualified for the second round. Sad news for the Maldivian surfers who did not pass through the first round.
The competition winner will be awarded a cash prize of US$100,000, a total of 194 surfers are competing in this competition.
